What’s My Professional Coaching Background?
My professional coaching background spans 10+ years of leadership across Olympic sport, elite football, multi‑sport environments, and organisations working across amateur and elite sport, health, fitness and wellbeing. I specialise in building integrated performance systems that connect medical, sport science, psychology, nutrition, performance analysis and wider performance domains. My work supports men’s, women’s and youth teams, helping organisations stabilise environments, strengthen structures and deliver measurable, evidence‑based impact.
I take a full‑commitment approach to every environment I work with. I focus on building healthy, sustainable department functions that are culturally aligned and capable of supporting long‑term success. I design talent environments and performance ecosystems that enable teams to thrive on and off the field, acting as the connective layer that aligns culture, values and performance.
I am an accredited ASCC coach and a member of the UK Strength & Conditioning Association. I hold coaching qualifications across multiple sports and graduated from Teesside University with a BA Honours in History. My experience spans non‑profit organisations, elite and development pathways, and high‑performance environments across Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the wider MENA region and Europe.
I maintain a blog that provides high‑quality educational content, practical insights and evidence‑informed resources across fitness, health, well‑being and performance sport. I am committed to continuous learning, knowledge sharing and supporting others in their development.
More on my qualifications, training and professional standards can be found on my website or LinkedIn profile. My client base includes elite athletes, clubs, federations, NGOs, professional associations and members of the public.
