This data I have used over the seasons starting from 2010, and continued to gather over time. This includes information from other coaches and a variety of other sources, I have attached a few below.

All the variables shown in the dashboard can be adjusted, and are flexible. Please view everything as a guide. The GPS metrics are examples of physical outputs for a variety of sessions. The drill tables provide pitch dimension options, along with example internal and external load variables. Examples are for Rondo’s and squares, possession small, medium and large. This also includes other session drills and matches. All training sessions can be split into a total number of minutes, and % of total time over the weeks and months. Coaches will then have a training overview of how much time is spent in each training drill category. For example Rondo’s, Squares, Big Possession, Small Possession, Attacking and Defending, Shadow, Set Pieces ect. This can also be broken down into Low Duration, Medium Duration and High Duration. Not forgetting Fun Games and Playful Competition. Running can also be included, for example, Tempo Runs, High Speed Running and Sprinting.

This Dashboard is live so it can be constantly updated and modified. I hope you will find this tool useful. Google Data Studio looks great on mobile, so access for coaches and players on the go is easy. Because it’s google they make it look good and it can integrate into most programmes.
