  • Typical measures - Movement screen through observing Individual or team training and competition.

  • Body composition - skin-folds, body mass (kg).

  • Sprint speeds over a range of distances, vertical jump ability.

  • Repeated sprint running ability.

  • Strength & Power Testing.

  • Monitoring systems such as - Heart Rate Variability (HRV), recovery & well-being.

This Is to assess athletic talent, Identify physical abilities and areas In need of Improvement. Including setting goals, evaluating progress and programmes. Testing can be used to rotate athletes, look at strengths and areas of development.

 

Testing can evaluate the effect of competition, rehabilitation, and competition verses Individual capacity. This Includes assessing athlete health status and team selection and progression profiles. Goal orientated feedback or measures can help motivation and Interest.
